I noticed my ducks doing the nasty lately and was wondering will she lay all her eggs in one day or over time? I don't want them to get mixed in with the chicken eggs and get broken open. they are all together in one coop/run with a small additional doghousethey could use. Any one with similar situation?

She will lay them over time. The eggs will be much bigger than chicken eggs, so I doubt you will get them mixed up.

She will probably try to hide them once she starts to lay.

Don't worry about the egg. The muscovy egg shell is not easy to break. It is nothing comparing to a chicken egg that breaks easily.
i'm always amazed how hard the shell is every time I'm using it for an omelette.
