Frog Pond Farms, the place were my GF and I buy our chicks, opened today... and I work less than 2 miles away, and today was payday... it was so tough not to come back from lunch with a box'o'chooks... I think the only reason I didn't was because I know we are going on sunday to get some ... yay....

I am fighting temptation hard myself! My store got a shipment in today and they have so many neat breeds now! Buff Orpington, Wellsummer, Polish, Cuckoo Maran, Turken, assorted bantams and baby ducks! So hard to resist!

Just got mine today!

She is soooooo sweet! The poor thing is all by herself right now. But two more come Wednesday.

I don't even have a clue what they have yet, but I am guessing they will have some niffty ones... over the past three years their selection has about doubled each year... keeping my toes crossed for a couple breeds we have been wanting(the word "couple being used loosly, of course... I can think of like five or six off the top of my head, and I bet my GF can come up with more)...
