Hey I've been gone for a minute but I have a question for you guys. I was using the calculator to decide which rooster to keep and a couple results confused me. What does it mean by white or black patterned gold Columbian?

Right? I hadn't either obviously but I hope someone has. The combination is a buff mottled with buff Columbian (d'uccle×buff brahma) if that helps

It just means gold (buff) Columbian, but because buff mottled has a dominant white gene its black markings become white.

Black Patterned Gold Columbian = Basically Buff Columbia

White Patterned Gold Columbian is the same but the black tail and black hackle pattern will be white

Yeah that's what the person before you said too, should be an interesting mix. Ik what regular buff Columbian looks like already because I have one I'm hatching eggs from
