I agree on boy and girl. Cool that you get to keep a roo! Your pullet might be and EExSSH. My silkie crosses usually have a little poofy head & very soft rounded feathers. She could also be straight EE bantam. They have a bunch of siblings here and there is so much variety of color and pattern!

As long as Mr. Roo doesn't go after the kids and I don't get nasty phone calls from the neighbors about the noise (I doubt they would mind, but you never know), he is welcome to stay. Otherwise he becomes stew

it looks like a guy i have a rooster like that at that size
