My little fella finally belted out his first crows this morning. I have been reading about all of the early developers on this site crowing at 5, 6 or seven weeks and was beginning to think my man DAVE had a little sugar in his tank or something. But today we let him and the girls out into the run while me and the misses began working on the coop expansion next to them. We had our backs turned when this scratchy, pubescent crow was heard. We kind of looked at each other and I smiled. He rattled of 4 or 5 more before I opened the gate for them to free range. I haven't heard any more.
