is this normal or is this a roo-to-be? I noticed that there seems to be some pink too where the waddles are...

she's a bit sick so I don't know... is this her/him developing or is this a virus? LOL

Oh this is my favorite chick, please don't let her be a he!!!!

I took some pictures but I need to upload and see if the pink shows...

thoughts?

Uh-oh. Not a good sign. Possible roo-alert. Beep-beep-beep.

I guess I have a warped sense of humor. I ordered 15 and got at least 10 roos so far. Maybe more. There are two or three that I am not sure of. I know what it feels like to get the short end of the stick. Somewhere out there is my counter-part who is celebrating their good fortune on have 10 pullets and only a couple of roos.

Oh well. Such is life.

yeah... Sniff.

I don't know what I'll do. I really like the chick. s/he's so sweet and loving. big baby.

do you think its too late to get another buff? they'd trample it Im sure since they are much larger now... sigh.......... I can't believe it. 2 weeks old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sorta mad too. but I love this chickie!

If he has waddles coming in I would think roo. I could tell by around 2 weeks that one of mine was a roo, Do you have more BO chicks to compare? Ours looked pink one day and red the next. He is now six weeks and already crows!

I have one more BO and that one isn't pink on the comb but is pink in the wattles as well.
