They are very cute! The picture color just doesn't look right, so hard to tell. If they look like this then they should be bronze. Mine are 2 1/2 weeks old in the picture.

I was told by the BYC'er who i got the eggs from that they are Narragansetts.

They probably are, I believe they look alot alike at that age. On feathersite it says Narragansetts were used to develop the bronze I believe. They look great, I just love my turkeys.

I agree they do look a lot alike at this age. When I was looking up my turkeys I kinda freaked out because the Bronze picture was first and I didn't want Bronze (I wanted my Turkeys to be able to breed on their own).

I love my Turkeys too, they are way too funny.

From the research I've done they can breed on their own. I hope that is true because we will be keeping these to start up a breeding stock.

Standard bronze turkeys are very prolific breeders.

It is the BB bronze who usually have to be artificially inseminated.
