The other day, I went out back and my Golden Sexlink was acting sort of strange. She was standing still, not speaking and then I saw her go over to the edge of my garden, squat and then walk away and drop an egg, that was cracked open and the shell was thin. Today, I was clearing the coop and found another that she had just laid, again, cracked, with a soft shell. She is usually a great layer, but, this week, I don't know. She gets organic feed, worms, oyster shell and the run of the backyard. She seems fine, back talking up a storm and being her crazy little self. About 3 months ago, I lost her buddy to crop issues, but it didn't seem to bother her. Maybe lonely and acting out?
