2 nest boxes is plenty for 6 chickens, and 8 is plenty, maybe too many, for 32 hens.
Where is siminole? Are you in Florida? Dirt floors have disadvantages, though they were traditionally used in the South, and have one advantage: they keep the coop a little cooler. Chickens tolerate cold better than heat. I left mine dirt and will use a small box fan in a month or two.
