So, this chick hatched October 2nd of 2025, so she’s about 3 months now. All of a sudden this week, I noticed her legs looking weak and sort of “uncoordinated”, and I have no idea what’s going on. Some days it’s worse than others. Her mother actually spent quite a bit longer with her than the others hens I’ve had hatch their own chicks. But I just wonder if anyone has any tips or ideas of what this could be. She sometimes lays in her forelegs on the ground..and if she runs she falls all over herself at times. I would appreciate any help or insight.

Is it really a cockerel? I’ve had a few and was so sure this was a young pulley. No Mareks in my flock- but I am concerned it may be vitamin deficiency. What should I give to supplement the chick?

Human super B complex which has riboflavin and the other B vitamins can be given 1/2 tablet daily crushed into food or given orally. Do his legs look straight with his toes pointed forward, or do you see either foot pointed in or outward?

Looks like the left leg is starting to turn inward to me.

Good idea to give the B-Complex. I'd also keep him on Chick Starter or a 20% Protein All Flock.
