so my newborn was just born the other day and he was doing well in the first few days of his arrival but today I notice he is extremely weak, his mouth is doing a really weird thing and he can’t walk. I brought him inside, it looks like he had some piece of mulch or something lodged in his throat so I took a dropper with water and I dropped a few drops in his throat. He acted a little better after but still not very good. I just put some more drops of water in his throat and he still very weak and basically the same. so I don’t think he’s going to make it but I don’t know what’s wrong with him. please tell me what to do. here is some links to my duck.

it doesn't look good - does he have an obstruction in his throat? If so it needs to be removed promptly. Add vitamins and some brewers yeast to his food. Make a wet mash of it and see if you can get him to eat...good luck

I think something stuck in his throat and I’ve been trying to get it out using a water dropper by putting water down his throat to maybe wash it down but it’s not working so I don’t know what to do he’s not throwing up either. i’m also not sure something is even stuck in his throat, his batch wasn’t very good either, 7 out of 11 only hatched, one duckling died (one of the 4 that didn’t make it) out of the shell but died when he was leaving the shell. I also don’t know if the duckling in the videos was already sick. his six brothers and sisters look completely fine.
