This is my first time raising chickens and I’ve been so fascinated with how much they change in such a short time! Right away I knew I wanted to keep track of the changes with weekly photos.
My girls turned 4 weeks on Wednesday, but I only have the 1st two weeks pulled off the camera lol gotta love always being behind. I have 6 Easter Eggers and am in love with them already! Without further ado, I present, my girls....
This pretty girl belongs to my youngest son, Maverick. Her name is Turbo, named after his favorite cow that we visit at a local farm.
This baby is all mine! After a 3 day journey from the hatchery she arrived not doing so well. With some extra TLC she’s doing amazing.
This lovely lady is Beaker. She belongs to my oldest son, Colton. He named her after the muppet babies.
This sweetie is Camilla and belongs to my daughter, Acelynn. Her and Colt are twins and tend to do the same things, so Camilla is also named from the muppet babies.
This girl is Hennessy. She’s very friendly and belongs to my partner, Renee. We like to call her Henny for short.
Last but not least, this is Chickira. My aunt is supposed to be moving closer to us and I’m “supposed” to be raising Chickira as a house warming gift. I guess I should add that she wants chickens lol so this wouldn’t be an unwelcome or surprise gift.

Love all the names. I photograph my chicks weekly as well, so much fun to watch them grow. If you end up giving one to your aunt, she should get two of them, single chicks/chickens are not happy.
