My 8 week old chicks are ALL "Roosters"

We are so proud! Hubby made the roost from Australian Pines. Which are an invasive, good for nothing species, so it's nice we could use it to make something positive. It's lashed together with good old fashioned baling twine.

A few on the ends got cut out of the pic.

My Phoenix and one of my 5 EEs.

A couple of my 7 "Einstiens", my "Dirty" Cochin (What do you call the light gray/white with the dark feathers mixed in?) and Chewbaca my black Cochin.

I'm glad you did share! DH and I are about to convert his old garden shed into a new house for our yickens. It's big enough to split for two breeds and I've been thnking a lot about how we'll fit in the roost and nestboxes...we are very wooded here so raiding the woods for roost is a wonderful and less expensive alternative to buying wood for them.
