My Aunt is Crazy

At Gf's work she give away eggs to some. One lady inquired about eggs and she told her that our eggs are fertilized; without hesitation the lady says" Oh, well we only eat organic" and walked away. She came back 2 days later and without explanation dais she would like to try the eggs.

A lady at work tried to tell me that free range chickens lay brown eggs and if you keep them in a coop they are white.

Just like chocolate milk comes from brown cows!

And I guess strawberry milk comes from sunburned cows . . .

Seriously, all jokes aside... people in the 21st century are so dumbed down, so "modern", so completely out of touch with Mother Nature and everything that she gives us... everything comes from a factory somewhere in China, and it's quite rare to meet anyone growing any of their own food anymore because it all comes from Wal-Mart and nobody ever stops to think of where Wal-Mart got it from.

It's like my mother-in-law. When she found out we had chickens, she was horrified, disgusted. Even tried to tell me that the freakin' authorities would take my children away for living in "unsanitary conditions", because chickens are unsanitary! She says, "They carry salmonella and people DIE from that!!" She also, before we even offered her any of the eggs, proclaimed that she would never, ever, ever touch any eggs we try to give them because they come from our chickens.

Because, you know, the chicken meat that come from KFC's overcrowded and diseased factories is much, much better, and at least these big corporations BLEACH their eggs unlike us filthy idiots!

People need to go back to a simpler time and re-connect with nature. Seriously, I'll never go back to the city.

Sorry for the rant, btw. Just makes me mad.
