My awesome mice eating chickens

I've read about this before but never really pictured my girls doing this. Until they actually did.
I was out there trying to take a picture of the two cockerels I need to find homes for when they started making sounds I'd never heard before. It was kinda creepy and they were all huddled together near the fence. Then all of a sudden one of them runs off with a mouse. Then they played keep away for 20 minutes before actually eating it.

I really like having chickens.

mine always try and catch them, but dont seem to get them completely. though i suppose they do behind that scenes! thats some mice less too!

I always feel so bad for the one that caught it cause she never get's to keep her prize!!
