When mine hatch that's the first thing I'm going to start doing, is singing to them! your daughter might think she's just singing, but to them you are thier MOMMY! and singing helps to sooth them and makes the bond between them and you stronger! and they are of course babies, so they need comfort and extra reassurance to know that they are safe with you. This is thier first time in this BIG scary world!

I have to ask is that water feeder a jar filled with water and turned upside down on a dish or is that a shop brought one?

It's a mason jar screwed into a waterer.

So far they seem pretty content. AND...my dog could care less about them! She walks right past the brooder and hardly glances in their direction.

Oh they are so cute! and only 2 weeks ago mine were that size. Enjoy the tiny stage it sure doesn't last long.

Oh babies

I love babies............. My babies were 20 wks old yesterday.. They grow up so fast. Your Daughter singing to them is great. I talked to mine soooooo much that anytime they hear my voice they come running. Their latest antic is pecking on my kitchen door, I thought someone was actually knocking. When they bond with your Daughter she'll have such a great experience. Enjoy
