Thanks everyone. They are a mix between RIR and a Rooster that is some kind of mix. Here's a picture of Roody the proud papa! There are NOW 7 babies

AND... I just received my order for 5 barred rock and 5 easter egger chicks today. I was also supposed to get 5 welsumers, but unfortunately they did not ship... I was bummed

I might see if I can find some locally.
