So I 'have my baby chicks in my home people say don't put them outside til they about 4 weeks or 6 weeks old. They are starting to jump out the brooder and just feeling free to walk all over my home I understand they want to explore and not be coop up in the brooder...and they are not scary they walk up to people like hey do you have us a treat....lol.....and I don't want to keep them just lock up all day and my chicken coop and the run that I do have....have my bigger chickens in it but its a two level and they don't seem like they need a lot of heat cause they barely be under the light and its very hot where I'm at can I just go head and put them out in the coop and just separate the run so the smaller chickens can go out there too and put them on the first level of the coop.....they are even trying to do dust baths on the floor.
