My Barred Plymouth Rock wont accept new babies....Help!!!

I have a 4 week old Plymouth Rock and 2 weeks ago introduced two new Cochins...she hates them and I separated her and put her back in and she still hates them. The rest of the flock is fine with them. I don't know what to do other than give her away? Let me know your thoughts...bye the way I am raising a friends flock as well... put her in with them and she is fine...two of their babies are the same age as mine......big ??????.....dont know what to do.... since she is a hen I don't want to give her away....help! These babies are in 2 separate pens in my spare room....their coop will be done this weekend....

She doesn't have to like them... the question I have is... how is that manifested? Is she beating up on them? drawing blood? If not, then just give them time. They may never be the best of friends... just tolerated. They need to work out their own pecking order. Things may change when they get out into their new environment. Unless there is blood, give them more time.

i have 8 bantams that are a week old and i am getting 8 more of the regurlar size chicks may 4th. i hope i wont have the same problem. i figured where the bantam's were a smaller breed the others would catch up quickly.
