These are 3.5 months old. Got them from Cackle Hatchery on April 8th. The watering container is a 5 gallon container, and that chair on the other side of the wire is a standard chair without the back. I think they are doing great, now that I have them back on a high protein feed. I am hoping that in August I will have a definite idea on which are the males. So far no gobbling (as I understand it) but perhaps a few attempts. Some are larger-but not a LOT larger-than others.
They are so cautious. If I put a new type of food in with them, they will all stand around it-not too close- and eyeball it. Sometimes they will eat it sometimes not. They did not like the Flock cake I got them at TS. I need to get their outside space finished.
