So this is our second hatch 
When I got my bator in Feb I wanted to hatch BCM's and found eggs on craigslist. We followed the directions and I added one of my own EE eggs as a kind of control egg. On day 19 we had 5 BCM's hatch (one died soon after) and my EE hatched as well! So then I got the brilliant idea to hatch Silkies for me and one of my daughters. I actually bought the eggs on ebay and they shipped from FL. I wasn't sure what to expect since they were shipped, but I have FB friends that ship eggs all the time, so why not?? LOL They are from a mixed flock of Silkies so color can't be guaranteed.
We candles and found out we lost 2 eggs. One appeared to not be fertile and the other didn't make it very far at all. On day 21 the remaining 5 eggs in the bator were all pipped! Our last fuzzy hatched yesterday morning!! We are the proud mamas to 4 Silkies and an EE!! I was already online for our next breed of eggs...LOL I have to wait however, I promised my best friend that she could use it now 
I love my Brinsea Mini Advance, my peeps and my life!! <3
