My button quail hens just hatched their first chick

So i know how to care for incubated chicks, my question is do i need to do anything to help the hens out, or should i let them be? they are preening the baby (it is still wet as I type) I just want to be sure.

Just watch closely as the parents may turn on the chicks and kill them. If they start getting aggressive remove the chicks to a brooder, otherwise the adults will take care of them. good luck

Thanks, I pulled the males, the moms are doing good, we are now up to 7 and one working it's way out
