Good afternoon just recently got some button guails.
I had three and had to change one for another. I was told the two males would fight when older
When I did this, the male has become more vocal, even tho they don't fight at all
He just calls and growls more often.
The female I have is a a silver one who has a Bib but doesn't have that extra white line to define the gender like two other silver ones I saw, so I thought it was safe to think it was female. Zelda (the new female) often lays with everyone and never makes any noise same with Luna (the black and white female I had before getting zelda) and then there is our trouble maker. Lucifer he climbs ontop of the house to pew pew for a good 30 mins sometimes an hour or less. I am unsure why that is as they all lay together and never fight.
Is he just a vocal bird? He never did it before when I had Loki (the other male) he started 2 weeks after getting the new female (zelda) if pictures are needed. I can post some.
