I know what you mean. They are pretty when they are mature and I love the sound they make.

I just hatch some 25 cotournix quails. They are my favorite and were hatch friday. They are so cute and little.
I forget how little they were.

I gave away 4 today to a family with a little girl. they where happy to get some from me.

Well, my luck ran out on my Bobs being civil with each other. I went out there last night, and had 2 dead and mutilated. The breeding and egg laying has been wild the past 3 weeks. The males are whistling like its May. I'm cutting the 250w heat lamp off at night hoping things will get back in order........(at least I think this is happening a bit early). I guess I've got to start seperating and assigning some males and females pretty quick. If not, those males are gonna keep at it until the population gets cut in half
