Actually its not even my cat we are looking after it for my stepson who's in Australia
She's only been gone two days but she's never been away before, never leaves the garden!
What if the fox has come looking for the chickens and found fluffy bunny instead?
I know a fox is about because it killed one of my neighbours chickens yesterday
He's a farmer and the chickens free range in the field with geese and sheep then go in at night,

Poor fluffy bunny! I've done poster but we only have the one lamp post in the village to fix it too

Have you not considered keeping the cat inside if you have preds about? Good luck finding her.

Hi I'm keeping my other three now!
Only found out the fox had been around after fluffy went missing
I wasn't even sure a fox would attack a cat
My oldest cat seems hell bent on attacking the local sheepdog
Who I often find cowering under our garden bench!
I'm not sure a fox would take him on

I can't keep my cats in indefinitely though, if I knew for sure a fox had killed her then the chickens would have to go ASAP
Strangely I'm a fix lover and get into many an argument about the cruelty of fox hunting, I've no problem with farmers and pet owners shooting foxes that attack there livestock, but hunting them as a sport in my opinion is unnecessary are cruel

Unfortunately it definitely could be a Fox! They can climb very well unlike a coyote and they're very sly and sneaky! When we moved into our current farm this Feb we had a red fox (I think it had mange) living in our barn. They'll probably go for an easier meal first but they most surely could take a cat if they want to.

I hope you find her!!

Goodluck

Thank you, nothing yet so its not looking good, I can't think shed just wander off she's not the type
Hope my other cats are ok!
Very worried now

I've had cats go walkabout for several days and I was SURE the coyotes had got them and was beginning to grieve for them when all of sudden they show up in the barn yowling for breakfast. I would keep them indoors to keep them safe but they were born in a barn and couldn't tolerate it. So, a happy life, maybe not the longest life?

That's very true thank you, and I agree its so hard to keep them inside
Luckily my little one phoebe hasn't mastered the cat flap yet!

Funny I found out today that a un neutered Tom cat of mine that went missing last feb, might be in a local farmers barn
And he might be a daddy!
I've heard from local farmers before about domesticated pet cats going over to the wild side and living with the ferrel cats!
He must be enjoying it because he's close enough to come back home if he wanted too!

I must admit its a much calmer house without fluffy bunny, she attacks one of my cats and makes her quite ill
With stress and diahrioa , now Mabel is less nervousness and venturing out a bit more

Omg Phoebe! That is the prettiest thing ever. What a confident beauty pageant princess look. I also love your black missing cat with the sweet white scarf. Maybe went over to the wild side? Who knows.

She's great part maine coon part persian, very yowly
She has a pom pom and insists you throw it for her at four in the morning
She runs and fetches it back like a dog would,
She is very cute and her tail is as big as she is
Love it when she sits next to Horace our other ginger(dark blond) cat
And wraps her tail over his head, he'd pass foe a silkie

She a bit of a poser too!
