My chick doesn't like Chickens ???

I put all her hatch mates outside last week but I still can't get her out of the brooder. Everytime I put her in with the others she goes nuts and flys around crazy!! If she getts near the ground and one of the others comes near her she takes off again. I put her out again this morning and went in the house. When I came back out she was out of the pen sitting on top of the netting looking at me eye level. She is very tame but other chicken freak her out for some reason. I don't know what to do she is about to big for the brooder.

Wow, what were her living conditions inside? how did she get separated from them in the first place?

It seems you could put her in a cage inside the coop so she is contained but safe and let her get used to them again.

I bet she is bonded/imprinted on you and is afraid they will hurt her is all.

What's her name?

I suppose if you fail to get her integrated you can buy her chicken diapers.

I don't think Dh will let me keep her in the house. Even when she was in the brooder with others she stayed away from them.

I'd put her back with the others. She is who she is. She needs to be with other chickens.

You never know about DH letting you keep her in the house. I would have said the same of mine who is at this moment building me a special indoor coop for my 5 silkies so I can have inside chickens. Diapers will be ordered as soon as they are fully grown.
