My chick is so small. What should I feed him?

Hello. I have around 10 chicks of over 2 months age. All of them are getting bigger but there is one who is 2 to 3 times smaller than all of them. He eats and drinks like others. What could be the reason and should I feed him something special?

It might just run in his family but it doesn't look like anything to worry about! The only time to worry about it is when they dont eat/drink and are getting visibly smaller! From what I can see, they look quite healthy:)

What breed is he?
RIR are fast growers, and two of those RIR are cockerels. Maybe he's just a slower growing breed. He could be a bantam or a runt.
Are they all definitely the same age?

I would say, don't worry.

He might catch up, he might not.
Unless you were raising him for meat, there isn't a reason to worry.
Just watch out for bullying, since he is significantly smaller.
I have a small Jersey Giant who never grew to her proper size. She never laid many eggs, but she did fine.
Let me know if he grows and catches up.

Can you say something about his breed?
