My chick just hatched strong and on schedule but there is a bloody yol

Now you just cross your fingers.

Once you think the hatch is done try and get some water into it.

So when I read these posts I am not sue if I should go on to bed...really need sleep. Or if I should remove this chick, put him aside in a special area. Really just tooo exhausted from my day of yard work and lambing...someone give me their best guess as to advice I will take it.
A. Leave him in the bator overnight ( though others are trying to hatch)

B. Remove him and place him in a special area.

Mahonri, The egg hatched - he came out strong and on schedule but with this bloody sak. What a puzzle this guy has been for me tonight.

Alright, no bosy is there. I am going with option A. I will let you know tomorrow how it all turns out.
Good Night!

Goodmorning! Just got up, and my little chick is fine. Paper towel trick worked. Thank you!! Happy Easter!

Is the yolk absorbing ? Is he running around ? Watch that the other chicks don't peck at it.

YAY! I'm glad he is better! Good luck on the rest of your hatch!

Well , bad news... he did not make it. The sak dried up bu so did he., each day he bacame less active until he just went to sleep. So SAD!
I just don't get it! He was a rare Barnevelder and out of 20 eggs only 7 hatched, and I am pretty good at the hatching. I just don't get it!
