my chick somehow gorged himself.

my cute baby was choking last night! my husband was looking at all of them and noticed him gasping really bad so we took a look. when we opened his mouth, it was packed with chick grower! we took the blunt end of a needle and fished it all out but i am wondering how on earth this happened..all of his siblings are fine and not choking on anything. this is the same type of food we have used with all of them.

It's natural instinct to eat as much as you can while it lasts... Dogs do it often, not all animals act on the instinct though...

yeah but i have never had a chick nearly kill itself like that..you wouldve thought he was starving to death!

I've had a dog almost kill itself that way

yeah it was so gross..he had feed packed all the way into his tiny chick throat, the poor dear! hes ok today though.

good thing he's ok! if he is like my chix he will drink when ever1 else is and drink more than needed!
