It is day 22 and I have one chick that hatched this morning at around 6:30. It is about 7 hours later and I am really concerned. He can't stand up for more than 20 sec at a time that I have observed and isn't moving well around the incubator. He is also still very wet. When I go check on him I see him laying on the floor. When I talk to him he perks up and talks back but only for a second. Does his behavior indicate that there is something very wrong? Does he even have a chance? Is there anyway thatI can help him? I'm afraid to open the bator and check on him for fear of chilling him or hurting the 8 other eggs that have yet to pip. Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
