my chicken has a growth or injury

here is a picture of my chicken on photo bucket (there is a growth like thing above the wound) this injury is under the left wing of my plymouth rock chicken, there is an open and bloody wound on her. She is living with five other hens and one rooster and 17 guinea hens. please help me with my chicken!

If you can, seperate her from the other chickens.

this link is about a dog attack, but I think its pretty good for any open wound.
