I have a white leghorn And I've noticed the last couple days she's been in the coop longer than normal. I open the door to the coop to check on her and she freaks out. Starts sqauking in a panicked kind of tone. Today I tried to catch her. So I closed her in the coop and tried to catch her. She was obviously panicked. When I caught her she kept squaking for a minute. When I looked at her breast and underbelly she had less feathers than normal and could easily see her skin. I have 3 white leghorns. This one's eyes were more orange than the others, her waddle is more drooped and very dirty looking, not bright pink/red. When she gets out of the coop she walks around scraping her beak on the ground a lot. And seems to keep to herself mostly. I don't know if something is wrong and can't find any info online. Has anyone had something like this?

Sounds like she’s gone broody.
It's a possibility I assume. I can't recall if it was the same chicken or not, but when I went to target eggs she got all fluffed up and pulled back and egg underneath her like she didnt want me taking it. this morning she was actually out and about seeming normal. so fingers crossed

Yep, the behavior you’re describing sounds like a broody hen. Leghorns as a breed tend to be less broody, so hopefully she breaks of it quickly. (If she hasn’t already)
