I have a 5 day old Delaware chick, her legs are badly crippled and she can scuffle across her soft pine shavings. But she won't eat or drink, past her yolk date.I have to dip her beak into the water for her to drink and I have to break the small feed in half for her to put it in her mouth.
We're probably going to end up keeping her since nobody would buy a crippled chicken and I was thinking about naming her Pandora- But only if she can live. We tried using bandaids as a sort of brace but it hardly worked and she's still struggling to move around.
What should I do?
