My chicken just ate a feather. What should I do?

My lavender orp, Blueberry, just ate a feather. She walked up to me so I started talking to her and the she looked at the feather I was holding so I moved it closer so she could see it. She grabbed it and ran away as fast as she could and when I got to her I tried to get it but she swallowed it. Been watching her and she didn’t cough it up or anything. What should I do?

She should be fine. Chickens eat feathers all of the time.

Make sure she has access to grit for digestion. You should see some of the bugs my girls find!
Feather should be fine.
