My Chicken still have not laid

I have 4 barred Plymouth rocks and 3 Rhode island reds all about 6 months old but still have not laid yet do any of y'all what could be the cause of this the lady said once there around 5 months old they will lay but I don't have no egg please help thank you

It'll happen! Soon. The waiting is so hard. You mentioned they are "about" 6 mos. If you bought them when they were a bit older and don't know a hatch date, they might be a bit younger than you are thinking. 20-25 weeks is typical, so you're close. There are lots of signs, squatting, dark red thick rubbery comb and wattles, here's a link to that
