My chicken threw up. is she ok????

My barred Rock hen threw up water this morning. Is she ok? She's the only one of my girls that let me pet her and pick her with no problem at all.

Is her crop enlarged? Vomiting in chickens needs attention. Post over in the emergency/disease/cures forum.

If she spit it up while you were picking her up or holding her, I'd guess you put pressure on her crop and forced some water out. It shouldn't be a big deal.

As mentioned above, chickens don't vomit. If she spewed water during a sneezing or head shaking fit, something may be wrong and require more attention. Good luck.
