My speckled Sussex was attacked by a dog. She ran and hid and I found her and examined her. She has no open wounds nor a great deal of feather loss, but when I put her in her coop she started limping and favoring on side. She can still move both feet, and when I touch the injured one she doesn't make any painful noises. The leg isn't bent strangely...the toes are just pointing inward a little more. I don't know how to tell whats wrong or if its just trauma, but I hate seeing my chicken looking hurt! Please help, I have no idea what to do!

! Pleased you joined us but really sorry to hear about the dog attack. My best advice would be to keep her calm and quiet and observe. Might just be a little trauma. If the condition persists you should post in the link below. Good luck to you!
