My chickens are crazy

Well, I have told you all how territorial my two girls are. They worry me to death, they chase off every bird that comes into the yard, as well as squirrels and rabbits. Thats ok, even a bit amusing..normally

Well, yesterday a woman was out with her Beagle dog on a leash walking by, and the darned things I GUESS thought since the dog was going away (yea, due to the leash you stupid chickens) that the dog was running from them so they started to chase it too. AND of course, the poor doggie was mighty interested and intrigued.

For pity sake, dont they KNOW a dog is dangerous? Sheesh, one would think they have a LITTLE sense! They think when I am out there, I will protect them from anything, goofy chickens!

I only let my babies out in the evenin for a 1/2 before bed, it makes them soooo happy and much calmer. Just wished they werent nutz!

I was thinking some geese would run off the neighbors stray horses and cows that come onto my place. Maybe I can get my chickens and turkeys to do that!

I went outside one day and found a fox on the outside of our fence and the chickens on the inside just standing there staring at him like it was no big deal. Needless to say, I freaked out and chased the stupid thing away. Now THAT was pretty dumb!!! (the chickens...not me

)

Yup, the chickens can be pretty clueless!

Today they tried to charge two very large beagle type dogs on leashes. The woman was laughin so hard she could barely hold them.

I must say tho, only ONE of my chickens charged them, at least the other hesitated at TWO bigger critters! sigh....

I had to apologize for my attack chickens.

And motherhenanflock, not sure they would try to run off a cow or horse, but I sure wouldnt put it past them! Not that the cow or horse would actually MOVE, but it they ran, then of course my chickens would puff up to 8 foot tall, of course and think THEY caused it!

I wish my silly chickens were that brave. I left the coop door open this evening so the boys would come out and Dan had to help them out. They were too chicken to come outside. Then Rowdy ran into the girls coop. They still have the blisters so I didn't think I should leave him there to contamintate the girls.
