When I am outside, I usually let my chickens out so they can roam around. However, they insist on constantly going to my neighbor's yard, , and then I have to chase them back. Is there any way I can train them to stay here?

Short of putting up fences and possibly clipping wings, keeping them in your own yard is a feat and s half if they already think the grass is greener over there 😅

Those green stake things (I have NO idea what they're called) with some bird netting make great fencing. Chickens think about flying to things, not over things. (e.g. oh look! the top of this fence looks fun to sit on! (flies to fence) oh my goodness! there's grass over there, too! (flies to neighbor's yard)) and they won't want to perch on netting because it isn't stable and it's very thin.

They like to be entertained, give them things and reasons to stay in your yard.

Gotta keep them entertained, fed, and loved. LOL

If you're only looking to keep them in, and you're not looking to create a safe run, you might be able to get away with using garden bird or deer netting to create a barrier. What type breeds do you have? Any particularly good fliers?
I've got Golden Laced Wyandottes, and they can't fly. :p

You could maybe put up an inexpensive deer netting or mesh as mentioned earlier. As for having to chase them back into your yard, our chickens are trained by call, we call la la la Leigh and the come right to us and we give them a treat. Soon, though they come without treats and it is very helpful.

Good idea! I think maybe those stakes are called T posts? At least that is what we call them but they don't look much like a T! :gig
