I thank the lord right now that mine are getting along.I have the mama with the 6 babies she actually has the other mama's 3 babies and her own 3,I never seperated anybody and the babies eat with everybody else,they actually sit in the bowl and eat while the big ones are all along the side eating.Mama chases some of the hens around sometimes but usually it is over the babies just squaking cuz mom was out of sight not because someone hurt them.And my second batch of chicks that I hatched in the house are in the barn too.Mama chased them some but now she seems to let them go too.They have a tin brooder w/the heat lamp that they can get under and the big hens don't really fit under there.
