My Chickens are losing lots of feathers

I keep finding piles of feathers in the coop what am I doing wrong??

You aren't doing anything wrong. It's surprising how much chickens shed feathers everyday. I'll rake up the feathers that accumulate in the corners of the coop every few weeks. Toss them a high protein treat now and then to keep them producing nice feathers.
