Hey guys,
My chickens have been living in their coop for a few weeks now without a hitch. But two nights ago they freaked out and started flapping around in their coop. They now seem scared of the idea of their coop and resist going to bed in it. When I try to put them in, they flap around and cluck in panic.
I don't know what to do!
Help please!

I'd sure look closely for an intruder. How about a light to help them settle in? good luck

They have a light ( the same heat lamp they had when they were chicks) and I am positive there wasn't an intruder ( when the initial incident happened a girl started flapping around opened a lift up door, so the entire coop freaked out)

their coop is their sanctuary if they arent going in then it could be an intruder and maybe not one that tried to sneak in the daytime. maybe set a few traps around the coop and see if you catch anything.

My Chickens went into the coop on their own! Bless their little beaks...
Thank you for the advice! ( Humane traps set)
