Hi,
I need some advice. We have 7 chickens. They have a pretty big coop, a decent space to roam around in. We let them out of their coop sometimes to roam the yard. We built a swing for them and put some cat toys on it for them to pick around at. I dump food on the ground for them to peck at.
With all of that being said I’m noticing feathers on their backs missing like they’re picking at each other. I would like to put plants out there for them to eat but unfortunately it’s getting into the colder fall weather and I don’t know what plants would thrive this time of year. I’m trying to think of ideas of things I can give them to occupy them so they aren’t picking at each other. I really need some advice on how I can correct this.
