My Freedom Rangers have been in a chicken tractor which I've moved all over our yard for the past week and a half getting closer and closer to the pasture. I prop up the tractor during the day so they can really get out a forage. They've been really good about going into the coop at night.
Well, tonight, I moved the coop from the yard across the dirt driveway and into the pasture--about 20 yards. It took a while but we were able to draw some to the coop the rest we had to carry.
As I was tucking them in for the night, there were a few that were really sqawking, clucking.
Do you think they were scared of their new location?
