My chickens developed a taste for blood.... :l

I was laying down kind of sleeping or whatever and one of them started pecking on a scratch they gave me and it started to bleed. I didn't notice because it didn't hurt but now they're going crazy for my blood lol. attacking a towel I wiped my hand on. I chased them all back and made them stop but.... Are they doing to start attacking each other now? they were for the most park debeaked at chicks but it's one of them who has the sharpest beak. Or are they just attracted to the color? I don't want them to start going crazy lol they have enough space to run around and other than when I am sleeping and don't feed them when they want they aren't that unhappy. I work nights so I wake up late well. I wake up earlier because they scream at me. but for the most part they're fed and well taken care of but not sure... sometimes animals turn rabid lol they're acting fine now but I hear a lot of stories about chickens overpowering their owners and eating them (that was a joke)

I think it would take a long time for them to eat you up

Are they inside all the time ? They react to red that’s why am injured bird must be removed from the flock .

They need more to do , fresh air , grass and space to run around ....good luck

nope they only lay eggs in certain areas. I have another room one of my chickens runs into and lays and I take her back outside lol I hear them cry outside by my door when they want to lay an egg. I keep them outside for the whole day and when evening comes I lock them up for their safety
