My chickens don't like there nesting boxes

My chickens aren't actually laying yet but they should start in a couple of weeks, my problem is, THEY HATE THERE NEST BOXES! I put my chickens in the nest boxes just to get them used to them and they went CRAZY, they absolutely hate being in there. what can I do? I want them to lay there eggs in there because I DON'T want to have to hunt up all dozen eggs every morning. please help.

Put some fake eggs in them they will figure it out when they get ready to lay.

I don't think the dislike of nesting boxes would make your chickens not lay. I doubt they see any correlation between the two.
When they start to lay they may not lay in their nesting boxes. Some of mine lay in the run, on the floor, or in the feeder. It is more of a pain to collect them from that many places, so you should take 7L farm's advice.
