My chickens havent laid an egg in 5 months!

Blue hour is the time before and after sunset when you can still see fairly well. It follows after civil twilight. Think of it as that time of day when your mom called you in because it was dark out, and you yelled back "no it's not! I can still see my hands!" Here's a snapshot from an app I use on my phone that gives the time of all the different lights today. View attachment 3578428
What's this app called?

LunaSolCal. I'm fairly certain you can find it in your Apple ir Google stores.
I didn't realize that was the name. I thought that was your location...lol.

Thanks!

Just did some research. This is a direct quote from Nutrena Research shows that chickens lay best when they receive about 15 hours of light daily. That the correct information I got.

15 hours every day should be enough for ALL hens to lay well.
But SOME hens will lay well with less light than that.
And all hens are sensitive to whether the days are getting longer or shorter. So a certain number of hours' daylight may stop egg production in the fall (because the days used to be longer and are now shorter) but start egg production in the spring (because the days used to be shorter and are now getting longer.)
