My chickens seem itchy

I have a flock of 5 hens and a rooster. They range from 14 to 18 weeks. They've always scratched at their heads with their feet, but lately they have really been messing with the feathers behind their wings, just before their tails, on their breasts, and underneath them.

Check for lice or mites, or just dust them with Sevin or poultry dust, or spray with Adams flea and tick spray. Although -- it's normal for them to preen their feathers, especially when young and the feathers are just coming in.
