Does anyone else's chickens think just because you're outside eating and the dogs are begging that they can too?
My Foxy and her sisters are fairly certain that if I'm eating it they deserve it too. She now bullied my poor dog so much he doesn't even try to get scraps if she's around.

They are a bit spoiled I will admit. But they bring me so much joy.

Not with my dog, but yes, my chickens will come over expecting begging for food. I even had this crossbeak that'd come behind me and snag a bite of my sandwich when I was holding it away from everyone else. 🤣

I had a very sweet lil crossbeak , his name was Sharp Tooth. He didn't make long but he was a sweet lil darling.
Glad to know my girls are not the only beggers.

My dog Thor does that.. they kind of all share the entire yard and if I accidentally leave the patio door open.. the girls come on in head straight to where my dog food is have a bit then to where my Conyor is and clean the floor under her avairey.
So glad I'm not the only one with strange critters with attitude. Jk I mean personality..

But yes, they not only run over my dog but they bombard me as well. They also always try to follow the dogs inside the house (as evidenced by the previous photos) and are hot on my heels when I first go outside. If they realize I don’t have treats they’ll saunter off after a few minutes. A simple call of “chick chiiiiick “ and they come running, better than most people’s dogs by far.
