It has finally happened. I've lost 3 Easter Eggers this past week. I've had them since April 15 2022. I knew it would happen, but i wasn't truly prepare.
Here's my issue now I have 3 roosters. Up until this week there was a perfect ratio. The 2 roosters are younger black sex link. The older one is an Easter Egger. Thankfully they get a long well. Will this change with the lack of hens.
At this point I have 2 female Easter Eggers, 3 black sex link hens, and 6 light brahma 2 week old peeps.

Your roosters are getting along well maybe because they are young still. Are the younger ones from April 2022? also. ?? How about the EE older one??
You may have to rehome one of those roosters for 11 hens,,,(only need one or two) unless you intend to expand the flock more.
Sorry to hear about your loss. You need to secure your flock housing, or run area,,, or wherever the loss occurred.
What was the predator,, if you know??

We have 6 acres they run on all day. I got the black sex links in late April early May 2022. They were attacked outside the coop and chicken yard. They are still young. I truthfully was just being hopeful. I wish I could find 3 hens around the same age.

Finding birds the same age is quite possible. Craigslist, Facebook, heck even on here people sell birds. Look for your area. Best of luck!

You might consider keeping them in the run, whatever predator got them will be back. You only really need 1 rooster, 2 at the most.
I have 12 hens and 2 roosters. have 2 rooster because I thought the 1 rooster was a hen last year, this year he will be leaving when I butcher, just keep the 1 rooster.

Aside 1 big light brahma Rooster eats enough let alone 2.
The Brahma roosters are pretty docile and do not fight, but do not like each other either though.
